Why am I a SANBS Ambassador?

"I have believed in donating blood regularly for many years but since I have been given the privilege of learning more about this worthy cause I have become passionate about speaking out, teaching others and motivating them to also realise that they have the key to life within them. I want to combine the tools that I have been given as an SANBS ambassador through the training program and my career as a platform from which I can inspire and motivate people to reach the realisation that it is a blessing to be alive and if one is fortunate enough to have healthy blood we can use it to bless others by donating blood and literally saving the life of another person!"

The South African Actress and Model Donnalee Roberts graduated in 2006 from the University of Pretoria with a BA Drama Degree and did an additional two year film school course at the PALI (Performing Arts And Lifestyle Institution) film school in Pretoria where she played lead roles in various student films. She is best known for her role of the vibrant young waitress 'Annelie' in SABC's soap "7de Laan" 2007:Did print campaign's for Meropa Sun and DSTV and modeled for the 2007 SA Fashion Week Hair Shows. Crowned as Miss Campus South Africa. In 2006 she was crowned as the University of Pretoria's RAG Queen and represented the University of Pretoria at the World Miss University in South Korea, she was appointed as the International Good Will Ambassador and is currently still the face of and involved with various South African Charities.
