| | Why am I a SANBS Ambassador? "I am so glad to have the opportunity to be involved in such an important campaign. I feel that we can make a difference by informing and educating people on something that they too can easily be a part of without reaching for their wallets, for a change! It's been a while since I was aligned with the charities involved in Big Brother and I am delighted to be part of a change that could ultimately save lives. The timing is also good for us with the possible relaunch of my recording career this year. I look forward to working alongside all the ambassadors and together reaching many people and changing their minds about giving life to others." Helen Desbois is an all-round performer with 17 years experience gained on stage and TV. She is and actress, singer, dancer, voice artist and recording artist with many credits to her name. These include appearing in many stage productions, such as "A Lad n' a Lamp" for Janice Honeyman, "Puss n' Boots" for Joe Parker, the lead in "Boogie Nights" for the Civic Theatre, the role of Madonna in "Immaculate" the Madonna Tribute, "Debbie Does Dallas", understudy to lead and supporting lead and most recently, "We Will Rock You", Hazel Feldman's touring production to NZ and Asia in which she also got to play the lead. She has appeared in many TV shows, from "Hard Copy" and "Shado's" to "One Way"and her debut as a lead in "Honeytown". She has presented on Teleschool and also has many commercials under her belt, including "Vanish" and "Remedy Health" to name but a few. Helen spent a week in the "Big Brother" house on the celebrity version of the show, raising millions for charity.
