Best known for his role as ‘Shaun Gillian’, a principal actor in over 1800 episodes of Egoli, which earned him the You Magazine – Best Actor Award in 2007. Marlon is a sports addict who spent his youth serving as a life guard in Port Elizabeth, where he grew up. Today he enjoys taking part in triathlons, Duathlons, adventure racing and the Iron Man challenge between shooting a new series called Getroud Met Rugby, due for release in March 2009 on Kyknet. Marlon also enjoys his guest appearances as a presenter on shows like Pasella as well as music videos like Babette’s new release Misverstaan, this multi-talented actor has done voice-overs for radio commercials as well as taking part in charity and other events as a celebrity guest, MC or judge.
